Our goal for this meeting is to introduce our grass roots programs to those interested in learning more about our team, sport of cyclocross and how to join. We will cover future training sessions, races, and team gear. This will all take 30-45 minutes, the rest of the time we can mingle and get to know each other. Please go to the Black Star Co-op website for directions and menu. Their food and beer are fantastic.

The mission of the Austinbikes Cyclocross Team is to create a fun and competitive cyclocross team, open to all ability levels. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a first time racer, we will provide an opportunity to take your skills to the next level and grow the sport in Texas. Those who have no ambitions of racing, but are looking for a fun social cycling group to be a part of are encouraged to join our growing cyclocross community, too!
BEGINNERS & FIRST TIMERS READ THIS! We will teach you everything you need to know about cyclocross and how to prepare for your first race. Our goal is to grow the sport and share the fun and excitement of the season! Our Team Ambassador will teach you everything you need to know about racing cyclocross. You will learn how to register for races, what to expect at various race venues, racing skills and technique, equipment suggestions, and other training tips.
Our Team Ambassador has the experience and will help you learn everything you need to know in a non-intimidating environment!
